Caregiver Respite is designed to care for those who care for others. It gives the primary caregiver a break from their ongoing responsibilities, allows them to leave the house when they normally would be unable to, gives them a chance to complete other tasks, or just to rest. |

Our Emergency Response Systems gives you instant access to the help you need. The client simply wears a small, lightweight, waterproof pendant. If help is needed, they push the button on the pendant, or the console unit, and they are directly connected to a 24-hour, 365 day/year response center. Help is then dispatched immediately, whether it is emergency services or just the next door neighbor. ERS systems give you and your family peace of mind knowing that you can access the help you need through a hands free, two way communication device. Multiple pendants can be used with one unit, each with an individual signal that allows the response center to identify who is in trouble. Our ERS units come with a rechargeable back up battery and warning signals for low battery and electrical AC power failure. The units also send our periodic test signals to guarantee the equipment is functioning properly, if problems arise, we are notified and will be there to fix the problem as soon as possible. |

Transportation is available for medical appointments. We transports clients that live in Scioto County to local area doctor’s offices and hospitals (non-emergency transports only). Whether it be as close as Portsmouth, or as far as Ashland, Huntington, Columbus, Lexington or even Cincinnati, our transporters will get you to your appointment safely and on time. Our transporters receive special training in defensive driving and transporting people with disabilities, and the vehicles used for transports have regularly scheduled maintenance and safety inspections.

Independent Living Assistance (ILA) is a service we offer to our Personal Care clients. ILA includes activities that help clients to manage their household and personal affairs. For example, it includes banking duties such as making routine withdrawals and deposits, cashing benefit checks, purchasing money orders, writing checks, paying bills, and balancing checkbooks. Purchasing postage stamps, going to the post office, organizing health records, applying for certain assistance programs for the client, and assisting or acting as the client’s authorized representative to obtain or maintain public benefits can also be included in this service. |

Travel Attendant |
Travel Attendants are also available for clients who need extra assistance or cannot be left alone due to certain medical conditions. The Travel Attendant stays with the client during the entire medical appointment to help the client where needed. |
Major Housekeeping is a service we occasionally provide to clients that require heavy household cleaning. These chores may include washing walls, ceilings, outside and hard to reach windows, removing, cleaning and re-hanging curtains, and shampooing carpets or furniture. This service is designed to improve or restore a clean, sanitary and safe living environment and is only provided when there is no one to assist the client with these activities. |
Telephone Support |
Telephone Support services can be provided to call clients according to a preset schedule to remind them to take prescribed and over-the-counter medications at specified times or to call clients when no other in-home service is being provided to make sure that everything is okay with the client. |

Medication Dispensers |
Medication Dispensers are medication distribution units that organize, remind and track the delivery of your prescription medications. This system offers individuals and caregivers a simple, cost effective solution to the day to day complications of prescription schedules and allows you or a loved one to maintain current lifestyles and independence with greater peace of mind and comfort. Medication cups can hold up to 20-25 pills and the unit holds up to 60 medication cups. These units feature a clear, friendly voice, text message and flashing light to announce when medication is to be taken, easy one button dispensing designed for senior’s special needs, battery back up in case of power failure, and locking storage compartment for extra security. |
